The packs are back!

This year's Commemorative packs gain inspiration from each of Michael Jordan's +60pt performances.

The first in the series celebrates MJ's huge performance against the Boston Celtics in the 1986 playoffs. Mike scored 63 in the double-overtime loss to Larry Bird and the eventual NBA champion Boston Celtics.

The pack is comprised of 2 pairs of Air Jordan 1's which were worn by MJ in the game.

One pair is in MJ's traditional Bulls colorway:

The other is in the Celtic's colors.

The box looks like the parquet floor at the old Boston Garden!

Mardi Gras begins Feb 24th. Mardi Gras is primarily celebrate in New Orleans, the city that Chris Paul balls in. To celebrate the festival, Jordan has taken CP3's signature shoe and decorated it with vibrant purple, yellow and teal colors. This shoe drops tomorrow; February 21st.

With the absence of retros from the Jordan line in 2009, it's nice to see that they are still putting out styles reminiscent of past J's.

These True Flights are basically Retro 7's...2.0. A great shoe for the court, and easy on the eyes.

All of the haters are gonna say; "They ain't retro's!" To them we say: "EXACTLY!"

Jordan is pretty much done with retros after 2008, so as time goes by, these will continue to be harder to get.

Earlier this month, Jordan release their hybrid of the Air Jordan II and the Air Jordan III as the Jordan 2.5. Several Jordan sponsored players have already been wearing them on the court including Ray Allan and Chris Paul who have their own player exclusives. Earlier in the month a black cement colorway was released and the above white, varsity red and cement grey colorway is available now at Shoe Extreme.
