Air Jordan 1 "Cinco de Mayo"
This Cinco de Mayo will consist of more than cruising the Fed and drinking a 12-pack of Coronas. Jordan has rolled out a new colorway of the retro 1 honoring the beatdown that the Mexican Army laid on the French in 1862.

Big weekend.
This is a big weekend for the Shoe Extreme family. This Saturday, May 2nd we will be having our Grand Opening Party for the New Flatirons Store: [CO]LAB.
We hope that you can make it!
There will be food, drinks and lots of prizes and giveaways throughout the evening from our vendors and local business.
The Party will consist of an open house from 5-9pm and feature DJ Sounds Supreme from KS 107.5 and Radiobums.
Later, we are heading to Club Sutra for the after party.

Blazer High: Jackie Robinson Tribute
This month Nike salutes American icon; Jackie Robinson.Robinson was the first African-American Major League Baseball player of the modern era, thus "breaking the color barrier" and inspiring these shoes.
Robinson's arrival in Major League Baseball had a major cultural impact beyond sports, and helped to shape the subsequent Civil Rights Movement.
Nike Air Max 95 Premium Wii Edition
Last month Nike dropped the first part of the Wii pack with a see-through Air Force II and a Blazer with a Clear gum sole (see earlier post).
This month they wrap up the Wii Pack with a Premium Air Max 95 and a Vandal.
This is a very clean shoe, perfect for those summer months.

This might be the year we get out of the 1st round? With the beat down we laid on CP3 and the Hornets, The Denver Chauncey's could be headed for the finals. MJ must have known the Nuggets looked Championship bound when he came up with this colorway of the Jordan Phly just in time for the Playoffs.

Coming Saturday: AJF 9
The latest in the Fusion line, pay homage to the Air Jordan Retro 9. This is probably one of the better versions of the Fusion shoes, simply because the AJ 9 and AF1 are somewhat similar silhouettes.

Big thanks to Pro Bodybuilder and big time Jordan-head, Phil Heath who named Shoe Extreme as a place to visit while in Denver in the recent issue of Flex magazine.
They call Phil "The Gift", and many consider him to be the next big thing in pro bodybuilding.
After looking at his pictures, they should be calling him THE big thing in pro bodybuilding.
Even better than his world class physique is his all-world personality. The dude is super cool and has spent hours rapping with us about shoes, sports, cars and just about anything else. Phil is a super cool guy and it's nice to see the former DU basketball player getting his due for all the hard work he puts in.
